leeds IMC 2021

The Society invites submissions for papers of twenty minutes from scholars of every career stage, to be presented at the Leeds International Medieval Congress, 5-8 July 2021. The Society is able to provide some financial support to doctoral and post-doctoral scholars presenting papers in its sponsored sessions.

Suggestions for topics include, but are not limited to:

  • the history of editing and editing enterprises, including the pioneering work of female scholars
  • changing approaches to editing records, including the production of digital editions
  • advice for those considering editing records
  • new research made possible by scholarly editions
  • using published editions of medieval records for teaching, in schools and universities


Please submit abstracts of no more than 250 words to treasurer.prs@gmail.com by 10 September 2020, together with an outline (of no more than 150 words) of your career stage, research interests and affiliation(s). If you are applying for financial support, please note this in your submission.
